This is an extra credit project. This is a case that I threw on the wheel. I learned how to make the tops of the project look nicer. I also glazed this in order to emphasize the top of the project.
This is an extra credit project. I made this project on the wheel and was trying to make a different shape. By having a narrow bottom and a wide top it emphasizes the shape of the project This is an extra credit project that is made of porcelin. I made this to practice throwing with porcelin and also to experiment with the blue color and see how it looked with porcelin. This is an extra credit project. I threw this on the wheel and it is going to be used to hold flowers. I glazed this pot green in order to show the shape of the project. This is my second pumpkin that I threw on the wheel. This is a closed project and I glazed it orange and used carving tools to make it look like a pumpkin. These pumpkins are also made out of red clay This is a pumpkin that I threw on the wheel, I closed this project on the wheel and I used carving tools to make it look like a pumpkin and have a lid. This is a bowl made of porcelin. I glazed this bowl blue to emphasize the light color of porcelin and to show to roundness of the bowl. This is my wheel altered project. I made this project by throwing it on the wheel, then when I was done I made the top wavy with my hands. I glazed this project red on the outside and white on the inside. The glaze really emphasizes how the project is altered and the top has waves and dips in it. Here is my set of three project! This project consists of a bowl, a cup, and a plate. I threw these pieces with red clay. I glazed these projects green because it emphasizes the clay color by juxtaposition. I also made the size of the projects similar so that they would fit well together and show that they are a set. This is my second plate that I threw on the wheel. I used new methods I learned recently to throw this. The glaze is black and the texture of the glaze is rough which adds to the shape of the plate. This plate is a big improvement from my last plate because I footed it correctly by making the base the correct size while throwing. The glaze of the project emphasizes the flat shape of the project. |
