this is an extra wheel altered project. I glazed this project black and white
This is my personal frankenpot. It is extremely tall because it is three projects put together. I then glazed this all scrap and black to make the project seem taller.
This is my lidded project. I threw a vase and a lid on the wheel. Then I hand made handles and stamped on decorative things. I then glazed it white and red.
This is my extra project. It is a large bowl. I threw this with vashion white clay. I glazed this bowl white, and then used a pipette to put mystery blue, black, and green glaze on for a dripping effect. I really like this project because it is one of the best big bowls I have ever thrown.
This is my choice 4 project. I made this vase with seamix. Next I carved out alot of the surface area, By carving out alot of the area it added depth to the project. I also really like the glaze (mixed white with mystery blue). This glaze really went nicely with the carved out spaces and complimented the shape of the project.
This is my double wall project. To create this project I threw a planter on the wheel, then I closed the middle of it. The next day I carved out alot of the project and made layers of carving going through the middle. I glazed this project a dark green/blue.
This is our group frankenproject. Tim threw the bottom, Clayton threw the middle, and I threw the top of the project. Then we attached it the next day using sliping and scoring on the wheel. We wanted this project to have an interesting shape so we choked the middle of the project and the top. Then we glazed this project with multiple different scraps.
This is my hand and wheel project. The lid and body of the project are made on the wheel. I then pulled 3 handles and then made a spout and eyes by hand. The project is meant to be shaped as an elephant, but have the use of a teapot. This project is glazed blue and white and I glazed it by spraying on white glaze on top of blue glaze.
This is a large bowl I threw on the wheel. I then used running glazes mixed with whites to show the roundness of the bowl.
This is a large bowl/vase. I threw this several days on the wheel. I then mixed alot of scrap glazes and dripped glazes down the side. The drips emphasize the shape and largeness of the project.
