Here is an extra credit bowl that I threw with seamix. I glazed the whole project white, then put lavender glaze on the inside and blue stain on the outside. This shows movement through the glaze because on the inside the glaze is moving towards the center and showing the bowlish shape
This is an extra credit bowl. This is seamix and i glazed it white with green sponged on. On the inside is a green swirl which goes with my theme of movement through glaze. This is an extra credit bowl that I glazed with a mixture of green and white. The glaze mixture turned out well. I then speckled black on the inside and dripped white on the outside rim of the project which showed the round shape of the project. Recently I have been working more on glazes and am excited for future glazing projects. This is an extra credit project. I made this with a vase like structure. I experimented with glaze and the glaze goes along with my theme; movement through glaze. I glazed the whole project black, but because of the consistency of the glaze it turned out a grayish Mattish color, which added to the texture. I then put on white glaze and moved the project so that the glaze would run a certain way and move with the project. Reflecting back I am very happy with the glaze of this project but I could have throw it so that the lip of the project went out more so that it more resembled a vase. This is an extra credit large bowl. This bowl also goes with my theme about movement through glaze. To glaze this project I mixed white and black and it emphasizes the largeness of the bowl. The texture of the glaze also adds effect to the project. This is my hand and wheel project. I threw a vase on the wheel and then the next day I carved patterns into the top and also made two handles for each side. I glazed this project green and white on the inside. This is a large bowl, I threw this on the wheel. I glazed this project black, white, and blue, which created a beautiful mix. This emphasizes the roundness and largeness of the bowl This is my multi wheel project. I threw three parts on the wheel and then attached them the next day. I glazed this with dripping glaze to emphasize the size of the project and how tall it is This is my lidded project, I threw both of these parts on the wheel. I glazed both parts green so to emphasize the shape. This is a large bowl I threw on the wheel. This project I learned how to better use the rib tools. I also glazed this project blue to emphasize the largeness and roundness of the shape. This is a large bowl I threw on the wheel. This project I learned how to better use the rib tools.
