this bowl has a large outward for that was wheel altered for effect. The main body of this piece is seamix but there is red mixed into this piece. The glaze is a mix of white, green, and blue experimentation.
this is a large vase thrown on the wheel from 2 cylinders. The bottom of the vase is red clay and the top is seamix, then red and seamix are mixed throughout. Then this project was glazed clear with forest green dripping from the top. This way the mixed clay still shows and the green and the red contrast.
this is my second project this semester. I threw this project on the wheel and then used a spatula to whack it into its square shape. Then I carved out lots of layers of the body to add texture. Then I made a handle and it became a decorative pitcher
this is my first project of this semester. This is vashion white clay. When throwing this I used the rib tool to create this outward form. I then glazed this bowl white and black to emphasize the round shape in the center. The drips on the outside also demonstrate how the bowls lip goes outward
